GOOSEBERRY PICKLE RECIPE RECIPE



Gooseberry Pickle(Amla Pickle) mentions to a spicy and tasty condiment and a South Indian specialty which is famous all over India. This pickle is normally consumed as a side dish and is often served with traditional Indian dishes and is considered to be a purely vegetarian item.
Gooseberry pickle is famous for its benefits like it contains all the dietetic benefits of gooseberry (amla), which is one of the healthiest and nutritious herbal products from India. Amla is boosted with high vitamin C content which is essential for overall health improvement. Here i will provide the recipe to make this pickle at home. 

     Ingredients:
                                                                                       
1/2 kg Amla
125 gms Green Chillies
125 gms Oil
50 gms Salt
1/2 tsp. Jeera
1/2 tsp. Mustard seeds
2 tbsp. roasted & powdered Sesame seeds
1 small Lemon
How to make

                                                                          
             Wash and dry gooseberry and keep aside
.
Heat oil in a pan and fry green chillies for 2 minutes.

Remove the chillies from the pan Add jeera and mustard seeds.

Then add gooseberry and fry for few minutes.

Sprinkle some water and cover the pan with a 
lid and let it stay for 6 minutes.

Turn the flame to medium and stir regularly.

"Within 10 minutes your tasty Gooseberry pickle is ready to serve with your delicious food."



SPICY ONION PICKLE RECIPE



Only few people know about the Spicy Onion pickle and some people only hear the name because many people don t know how to make this pickle. Spicy Onion pickle is not famous like mangoes and lemon pickle but its taste is fabulous. Here i will provide the recipe to make this pickle so that you can try it to make at home.

                                                                                     

Ingredients:

1/2 Kg button Onions (very small onions) 
2 cups white Vinegar
 Cinnamon
4 Cloves
16 Peppercorns 
16 green chilies, slit in the middle                                                   
1/3 cup Salt

How to make spicy onion pickle:
  • Peel the onions, rub salt on them and keep for one day.
  • Drain the salt water.
  • Boil the vinegar with spices and in it cook onions and green chilly to boiling.
  • Cool and put in ajar; cork it tightly.
  • Keep for 4 days before using.

Lemon Pickle

                                                  





Lemon pickle most famous of all the pickles. The recipe to make this pickle is very easy because all the ingredients are easily available in the market. Here I will provide the easy recipe to make this pickle at home.

Ingredients

30 Lemons
5 cups water
1 tsp asafetida powder
4 tsp salt
black peppercorns
2 tsp black cardamom seeds
2 tsp Red chili powder
1 tbsp White cumin seeds
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp vinegar
How To Make Lemon Pickle:
 Firstly clean the lemons.
Now boil the water and put lemons in it for 2-3 minutes.
Take them out, dry them and cut into quarters.
Using purified pots for the pickle, shake the asafetida powder and half the salt over the base.
Grind all the paste elements to make a smooth mixture and smear it all over the lemon quarters. Drop these spiced lemons into the jar.
Squeeze the juice from the remaining 10 lemons over them and shake rest of salt.
Cover the jar with a clean cloth and leave out in sun.
The pickle should be ready within 2 weeks.

Mango pickle





AAM KA ACHAR RECIPE (Mango Pickle)
Ingredients:
  •   Green Mangoes
  •                  Sugar
  •     2tsp salt
  •                 1tbsp white cumin seeds
  •                 2tsp brown cardamom seeds
  •                 1tbsp poppy seeds
  •     1tsp red chili powder


Process of making mango pickle
  •      Wash, peel and grill the mangoes.
  •    Add sugar and salt and mix well in a large bowl.
  •    Cook cumin seeds, cardamom seeds and poppy     seeds, mix in chili powder and mix with the sweet mango.
  •    Turn the mango pickle into a purified jar, cover with a clean cloth and leave out in the sun light or in the warm place, keep it about a week in sun light.
  •     Keep in mind that the jar should be Shake at least once a day.
  •  
  • After one week your pickle is ready to serve with delicious food.

Indian Pickle







 One day my friend came at my home and I made something special for 


her which she like most. I made ‘Sarso da Saag, and Makki di Rotti' which is most famous Indian food. When I was cooking I was also thinking what should be the topic of my blog which can attract people to visit my blog again and again. Suddenly my friend said that there should be pickle with this food because without pickle it looks uncompleted. Then I thought why not to choose’ Indian Pickle Recipe’ for my blog because Spicy pickles are very important part in Indian meal. Pickles boost the taste of the meal and also give the great satisfaction after every meal. Pickles are easy to prepare and in India mostly people prepare pickle at home.
